Dorothy "Deaka" Crowsdale(nee Steinmetz) passed away April 21, 2004 at the age of 93. She resided in Moorestown, NJ and N. Wildwood, NJ.
Deaka was a graduate of Moorestown High School Class of 1928 and longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was a member of the St. Anne Guild. She was an Artist working in Pastels as well as Oils. Wife of the late John F. Salmon; mother of Rev. John F. (Suzanne Sutphen) Salmon, Jr.; Albert R.(Ellen Hare)Salmon and Robert C.(Kathleen Forscht)Salmon; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister of the late Ada Mildred Steinmetz George, Frances Miriam Steinmetz Juliana, Joseph Richardson Steinmetz, Jr., Charles Wilson Steinmetz, Daniel Fennimore Steinmetz, John Steinmetz.
Funeral service Monday 11 a. m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W. Main St., Moorestown, NJ. Viewing Sunday evening 7-9 p. m. and Monday 9:30-10:30 a. m. at the church. There will also be a Memorial Eucharist at the Chapel of the Evergreens at a later date. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park.
