Nina was killed when an auto in which she was a passenger went out of control. The accident happened on the Groveland black top road at the intersection of Route 9, west of Tremont. She was owner of the Gibson Hotel, 304 1/2 S. Main St., Bloomington.

Daughter of Arthur Kennedy Rupe (1875-1912) and Hettie Bell Demunbrun Rupe (1875-1965). Sister of Kizzie Mary (1898-1973), Anna M., and Ruby (1906-1981).
