Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Ash, 75, widow of the late Jeremiah Ash, of 2 1/2 St Catawissa, died Friday eve at 5 0'clock in her home. Death was due to complications following a stroke. Surviving are two daughters , Mrs Bessie
Becker, RR St. Catawissa; Mrs Cora (Ira) Breech, RD Catawissa;seven sons, William of Mays Landing, NJ; Noah of Pottsville; Charles of Gordon; Homer of Catawissa, Herbert, David, and Harry at home; and twenty-two grandchildren, and
ten great grandchildren.
She was a life long member of St. Johns Lutheran Evangelical Church, Catawissa, PA.
Private services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Billig Funeral Home,
Numedia. Reverend Carl Weber will officiate.
Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery, Catawissa.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Ash, of Catawissa, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Billig Funeral Home.
The Rev. Carl Weber, pastor of the Catawissa Lutheran Church, officiated and burial was made in the Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa. Bearers, sons of Mrs. Ash, were, Homer, David, Harry, Charles, William
and Noah Ash.
