S B Glaze found a nickle plated tea kettle Tuesday in a field on Joe Henderson's farm, at a distance of about a half mile northeast of the house, which was undoubtedly carrier there by the cyclone the other day.

S. B. Glaze of this city, has just received word of the death of his brother, William Glaze, of Marysville, Mo., Nov 5. William was an old soldier, and was nearly 82 years of age. He is survived by his brother here and two children. William Glaze visited in this city at the time of the Dalton raid.

Mr S B Glaze passed away April 18, 1917, at the home of his daughter Mrs C C Romig.

He was born near Madison, Ripley county, Indiana October 9, 1836. October 20, 1858 he married to Deema Ellen McLaughlin, who preceded him to the better world 10 years.

Eight children were born to them: two dying in infancy. Those living are: Mrs Sarah Broadbent, Beloit, Kansas; Charlotte A Click, Havana, Kansas; Mary E Gerdes, Pasadena, California; Wm T Glaze of Spokane, Washington; J C Glaze of Blythe, California, and Mrs. Malinda C Romig, of this city.

The funeral will be held at their home, 1018 E. Main Street, Thursday at 1:20 p.m. conducted by Rev W P Wharton, from the 12th and 13th verses of the 14th chapter of Revelations.

Samuel B Glaze Died Yesterday at Home of Mr and Mrs C C Romig
Samue Bezel Glaze died at 3:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs C C Romig, 1018 East Main street, death being directly due to a severe cold. However, Mr Glaze had been ailing for two years or so, old age being largely responsible.

He was born in Indiana Oct 2, 1836 to Deema Ellen McLaughlin, and in 1871 they came to Montgomery county, Kansas, settling on a farm ten miles southwest of Independence. Mrs. Glaze preceded her husband to the grave by ten years.

The deceased is survived by six children Mrs T A Broadbent of Beloit, Mrs C A Click of Havana, Mrs Mary E Gerdes of Pasadena, Calif, W T Glaze of Spokane, Wash, J C Glaze of Blyghe (sic Blythe), California, and Mrs C C Romig of this city.

The funeral was held this afternoon from the residence of Mr and Mrs Romig, services being at 1:30 o'clock with interment in Spring Hill cemetery, southeast of the city.
