Born Wednesday, April 29, 1942, in Casey County, Ky., he was a son of the late Walter and Margie Conder Webb. Roy was a retired night watchman for Kentucky School for the Deaf. He was a member of Gravel Switch Methodist Church and attended Centenary Methodist Church. He also was a lawnmower repairman.
Survivors include his brother, David Webb of Danville; sisters, Lillian Ferrell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Iris Naomi Webb of Danville, Audrey (Kenneth) Davenport of Danville and Wanda (George Jr.) Brady of Florence; a niece, Dr. Rebecca Charlene Brady of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of cousins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Lanham and Bro. Gene Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Elder Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Kondik, Clay Stephens, Wayne Ross, Conrad Hicks, Neal and Brad Lanham, and Donnie Leathers.
