LEBANON — The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, at the Church of Christ in Lebanon for Boyd Leroy Roberts of Lebanon, formerly of Eugene and Cottage Grove, who died March 1 of age-related causes. He was 85. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
He was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Aurora to Cecil and Inez Pruitt Roberts. He married Wilda Ferguson on June 6, 1948, in Corvallis.
Roberts graduated from high school in 1943 and attended. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. He worked as a logger, and owned Boyd Roberts Logging in Cottage Grove and Western Auto in Lebanon.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Julie Foss of Lebanon; a son, Jim of Portland; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home. Arrangements by Sweet Home Funeral Home. Remembrances to the Church of Christ in Lebanon.
