Gerald R. Bubel
PORT HURON Gerald R. Bubel, 67, of Port Huron, died Saturday, March 15, 2008.
He was born October 23, 1940 in Port Huron to Arlene and the late Ray Bubel. He married Catherine A. "Kaye" Palmateer on June 6, 1970 in Port Huron. She died June 12, 2004.
Mr. Bubel retired from Mueller Brass Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Marysville High School Class of 1958 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He is survived by his mother, Arlene Bubel; four children, Deborah Becker, Tina, Nicholas and Joey Bubel all of Maine; a sister, Marsha (Al) Grabowski of Wadhams; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Palmateer of Fort Gratiot and Mary Louise Hawley of Kimball; a special niece, Julie Pemberton; and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
