He was born in June 4, 1882, in Canton Township, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Dahl. An area farmer all his life, he married Josie Hanson November 10, 1901.
She joined the American Red Cross and served in the British base hospitals at the front during the years 1915-16, having made two trips to France.
Mr. Dahl is survived by his wife; four sons, Blanchard, Pueblo, Colo.; Arland, Mabel, Emerson, Harmony and Loren, Fountain; three daughters, Mrs. George (Helen) Briggs, Los Angeles; Mrs. Charles (Anna) Putnam, Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. James (Rosemary) Brunkow, Pepin; a brother, Oscar, Pine River, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Prough, Elkhart, Ind., and Mrs. Abner Zola, Miami, Fla. Thirteen grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A daughter, Mrs. Rex Nutter died Jan. 24, 1957.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fingerson Funeral Home, Vilas Huishers officiating. Burial was in the Prosper Cemetery.
