Cathy Wood died March 2, 2010 after a valiant fight with lung cancer. She resided at 3220 South 900 East in Millcreek Township, Utah at the time of her death.
She was born June 5, 1942 to Mr. and Mrs. William Anthony of Salt Lake.
Cathy was a strong and devoted mother and sister. She never let anything bring her down.
Cathy was preceded in death by both her parents and a brother Billy Anthony, and a sister Margaret Valdez. Cathy has one daughter, Cynthia May Wood of Salt Lake. She also has three brothers, Danny Anthony, Jerry Anthony, Jesse Anthony, and two sisters, April Anthony, and Jenise Powell.
Cathy worked at the Holy Cross Hospital from 1970 to 2006, where she retired. Cathy was a true blessing to her family and friends; we love you and will miss you.
Funeral Services will be held at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
