1939 Aug 11-James Allen Walls, 70, president and founder of the Bank of Holly Grove and one of the wealthiest planters and landowners of Eastern Arkansas died at his home here yesterday, Aug. 10,1939, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Julia Louise Patterson Walls; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Walls Thomas and Julia Walls of Holly Grove, and Mrs. Mae (H. C.) Casey of Ardmore, Okla.; a son, Milton Patterson (M. P.) Walls of Holly Grove. Funeral services will be held today at the Presbyterian Church of Holly Grove, with Rev. W. H. Pruitt, pastor in charge. Burial to be in Macedonia Cemetery.
