Mrs. E.L. Carter.

Mrs. Edna Carter, wife of E.L. Carter, died yesterday afternoon at 4:40 at the Wichita hospital. Mrs. Carter had been in poor health for several months and had been confined to the hospital since March. She was 29 years old at the time of her death. Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Glester, Thelma and Dale, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Snodgrass, of Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Kyle Myers of this city and Mrs. W.B. Elliott of Nevada, Mo., and three brothers, John, Frances and palmer Snodgrass.

The body was brought here this morning where it will lay in state at the home of M.S. Loomis, 1027 State street, until the funeral services which will be held at the Christian church tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in Elmwood cemetery.
