H.O. Feile Dies at Home of Kiel Sister
Henry O. Feile, aged 56, of Kewaunee, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Emma Arnold here at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. He had been ill for a year.
Mr. Feile was born in the town of Schleswig, October 3, 1885, the son of Mathias and Anna F. Feile. He attended the local schools and at the age of 16 years became an apprentice in the moulder's trade, which he followed for 41 years.
For the past 17 years he had worked at the Frank Hamacheck Machine Company, becoming inactive five months ago. He was a member of the International Moulder's Union of Manitowoc and the Masonic Lodge of Kewaunee.
He married Anna Gierke of Plymouth on September 8, 1914. The couple resided at Appleton for three years and at Manitowoc for 9 years, and for the past 17 years had lived in Kewaunee.
Survivors are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Athniel (Elsie) Raquet of this city; two sons, Clarence of Jefferson Barracks, Mo., and Norman at home; two grandchildren, Gordon and Glorian Raquet; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Emma Arnold and Mrs. Herman J. Duecker of this city, and Mrs. Ella Reineck of Appeton; Rudolph Feile of Kiel, and Robert of DePere and William of Philadelphia, Pa.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, the Rev. E.L. Worthman officiating. Burial will be made in the Rockville cemetery.
