Jean, 93, of Lansing, passed away Saturday in Charlotte. She was the daughter of Byron and Mabel (Mellon) Puffer.
Jean was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. She was active in RSVP. Jean worked at the Lansing Parks and Recreation teaching weaving and ceramics. She was also an avid square dancer with the Foxy Squares.
Jean is survived by her children, Frank, (Ellen) Clements of Wheaton, IL, Linda (Bill) McQueen of Caro, Dan (Kris) Clements of Eaton Rapids, Glen Clements of Sebastopol, CA; 6 grandchildren, Andrew and Amy Clements, Catherine (Tim) Slattery, Robert (Erika) McQueen, Caitlin Clements, Lindsay (Russell) Thorn; 5 great grandchildren, Travis and Ryan Schriber, Delaney McQueen, Adlay League and Brayden Thorn; brothers, Jack (Joanne) Puffer of Lansing, Charles (Janet) Puffer of OH; sister, Becky Kennedy of AZ; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clements.
Funeral services were Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids, MI with Rev. Marty DeBow officiating.
