Etta Loraine Charles

Etta Loraine Charles, of Jacksonville, passed away January 24, 2010.

Born in Keokee, VA to Willard and Bessie Stanley, Loraine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest B. Charles, she is survived by her children, Patricia Frame, Ernest A. Charles (Sandy), Phyllis Wester, Pamela Sue Graves and Peggy Lynn Connor (William Hill); brothers, Otis Stanley and Willie Stanley (Teresa); sister, Lois Tveit; sister-in-law, Joyce Blackburn; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. with Pastor Thomas Patrick officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery will follow. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of NE FL.
