Virginia M. Tymeson, 90, passed away February 20, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL.

She was born June 10, 1919 in Greenville, IA. She graduated from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, IA with a Bachelors degree in English.

Virginia was a member of South Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of P.E.O., most recently a member of Chapter AY. She loved to read books, play golf, garden, and dance with her husband.

Virginia is predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Herbert, and 5 siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Tymeson (Bonnie) and Craig Tymeson (Sherri), her daughters, Susan Brennan (Joseph) and Laurie Hardeman (Jack), her sister, Margaret Flohr, her granddaughter, Bonnie Rebecca Thurman (David), her great-grandsons, Kelsey and Hayden, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, February 25 at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church with Dr. Vincent Kolb officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Virginia's honor to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32257 or to South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 2137 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32207. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Home.
