Bruce "Brucie", 55, a long time Edgerton resident, passed away on Sunday unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born to Russell & Glenys (DeWitt) Bolden. He was united in marriage to Tammy Hanewall on April 20,1985, at the United Methodist Church, Edgerton.

Bruce owned and loved muscle cars and restoring them. He enjoyed car cruising, fishing, taking naps and was an avid motorcyclist. He truly loved spending time relaxing with his family and friends and living in Edgerton. He was also known as a practical joker, especially around his family. Bruce would do anything for anyone, and as his last act of kindness, he was an organ donor.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Tammy; one son, Bruce Jon Jr,; two daughters, Bailey and Bobby Bolden, all of Edgerton, WI; his father, Russell Bolden of Ontario, WI; three sisters: Lana (Terry) Sullivan of Janesville, WI, Vicki (David) Engler of Milton, WI, and Kathy Pope of Wilton, WI; three brothers; Larry (Deb) McKee of Hot Springs, SD, Tom (Julie) Bolden of Edgerton,WI, and Kurt (Laura) Bolden of Sparta, WI; his mother-in-Law, Ruth Ann Hanewall; four brothers-in-law; and five sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenys Bolden; his father-in-law, Bob Hanewall; and brother-in-law, Mark Hanewall.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Edgerton, with the Rev. Jean Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in the Sweet Cemetery.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial is being set up in Bruce's name. Ehlert Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
