Mrs. A. M. Gustin died at her home near DeSoto last Thursday after a short illness with diphtheria, and the funeral was held Friday, Rev. Warren delivering a short address at the grave. Mrs. Gustin was about 48 years old, and besides the husband, leaves two sons and one daughter, all grown.

Mrs. A. M. Gustin died of diphtheria at her home in DeSoto Township last Thursday afternoon, and owing to the nature of the disease, interment was made the next day in the Blair Cemetery. Only a short service was held at the grave by Rev. G. B. Warren, of the Methodist Church.
Ida May Talbatt was born in Iowa, Dec. 27th, 1866, and was married to Mr. A. M. Gustin at Kearney, Neb., July 1890. They lived near Kearney until two years ago, when they moved onto the Jim Wilds farm in DeSoto Township.
Besides the husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lester Springer, of Florence, Neb., and two sons, Orin and Ellsworth, who live at home. Her mother, a brother and a sister live at Kearney.

Died of Diphtheria
On Thursday of last week, Mrs. A. M. Gustin, who lived on the James Wild farm at DeSoto, died from diphtheria, and was buried at Blair on Friday.
Mrs. Gustin was 48 years old; she came from Kearney two years ago to DeSoto. A husband and three children, two sons and a daughter, besides other relatives are left to mourn her demise.
