He was born March 16, 1946 in Princeton, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, William R. Fort and Virginia Allyn Fort. He is survived by his wife Joanne Fort and sons Zachary Fort of High Springs and Christopher Waite of Nashville, TN and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Allyn Price (Jim) of Lakeland, FL and Dorie Labbee of Sturgeon Bay, WS. Other survivors include his stepmother Edith Fort of Bradenton, half brothers Bill and Joe Fort of Florida, half sister Jennifer Natividad of Florida and stepbrother Floyd Stembridge of Frostproof, FL.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
