He was born in Sacramento, California May 22, 1915. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
Mr. Eddy was honorably discharged from the United States Army, stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. He worked for the 14th Naval District in Pearl Harbor as Fire Captain for 34 years and retired in 1976.
He was a devoted husband of Rita H. Eddy. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Paulette E. Ash (Jim), and grandchildren, Shannon Schneider (Nick), Ian Lynch (Ashley) and Lucy Ash. He also had three great-grandchildren, Owen and Neve Schneider and Liam Lynch.
His family is honoring his request for cremation and will be interred at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
