Mrs. Pat Elizabeth Creath Haley, age 92, passed away Friday, December 30, 2005 at Whitehall Nursing Home. Mrs. Haley was born June 6, 1913 in the Creath Community of Houston County to Moffen Baskin and Mary Maude Steed Creath. After completing high school at Belott, she studied to become a hairdresser and successfully passed the State Exam. Mrs. Haley worked in Crockett until she married Paul Francis Haley, a soldier from Penn-sylvania. After Paul's service time, they moved to Hunker, Pa., where they lived until Paul retired and they moved to Houston County. Mrs. Haley was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crockett, where she was an Elder and Clerk of Session.
Survivors include her sister Jeanette Creath Crell, of Crockett; sister-in-law Lucille Duvall Creath, of Ft. Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Paul Haley in 1986.
