Mrs. Mary Ethel Little, 91, 2222 Empire Ave., died at 4 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Hospital where she had been a patient since Aug. 31. [1974]

Mrs. Little was born April 4, 1883, in Cherokee County, Kansas, and came to Joplin in 1914. She was a member of the Friends' Church in Baxter Springs, Kan. Her husband, John Little, died in 1942 (sic) [1944].

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Faye G. Barker, 2222 Empire Ave., and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Thornhill-Dillon Chapel. The Rev. Irvin Dally will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
