Rudolph Hirt, 55 years old, died at his home, 1636 Avenue B, Monday night. He had lived in San Antonio for about 35 years. He was born in Wagstadt, Austria. Mr. Hirt is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Volz Hirt, a son, Rudolph Hirt, five daughters, Mrs. Fred Mergele and Misses Adele, Helen, Alma and Eleanor Hirt, all of San Antonio. Mr. Hirt was a member of Harmony Lodge No. 1, Hermann Sons, and the Mutual Aid Society and the Jagerlust Social Club. The funeral will be held from the home at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Services will be conducted under the auspices of Harmony Lodge, and interment will be made in Hermann Sons' cemetry.
