Elizabeth Long was born on 30 May 1780, in Yadkin Co., North Carolina. She was the daughter of Johann Friederich Lang and Sarah Gross. She married Henry S Fender on 26 September 1797, in Surry Co., North Carolina. They were the parents of twelve children. She died on 23 April 1861, in Abington, Abington Township, Wayne Co., Indiana, at the age of 80, and was buried in Locust Grove Cemetery, Abington Township, Wayne Co., Indiana.
