Sleman Abdoe, aged 65, of 210 Weaver street, died in the New Castle hospital at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, following an illness.
Born in Burge Safita, Syria, July 15, 1887, he had resided in this city since coming to the United States. He was a retired tin mill worker.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jamile Abdoe; his children, Joseph, Albert, Mrs. Julia Androla, Marian, Diane and Rose Marie all of this city; a sister Johra of Syria.
The body will be removed to the El Fityel Aween Syrian Association Lodge Hall, 424 East Long avenue, where friends may call after 5 p.m. today. Services will be held from the hall at 2 p.m. Saturday with interment to follow in Valley View cemetery.
