Mrs. Willie Rasco Ledford, 78, life long resident of the Roaring Springs community, died at 5:15 yesterday afternoon at Elmhurst nursing home, where she had been a patient 12 days.
Services will be at 2 pm tomorrow at the Roaring Springs Christian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Brooks Major, pastor of Millbrooke Christian Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery at the church.
Mrs. Ledford served many years as the Sunday School teacher at the Roaring Springs Christian Church, where she had been a member since childhood. She was born May 30, 1886, in Trigg County, the daughter of Albert and Martha Hayes Rasco.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clayton Futrell, Rantoul, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Brandon, Roaring Springs, with whom she made her home; a niece, Mrs. R T Humphries, Princeton; a nephew, John Brandon, Roaring Springs; four grandchildren and three great nieces and nephews.
The body is at Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home.
