Mr. W. C. H. Vann, aged 73 years, a prominent citizen of Abbeville, died Saturday, of heart failure. The funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. W. H. Tew, assisted by Rev. B. C. Glenn. Mr. Vann was game warden of Henry county since the passage of the law appointing game wardens for each county. He was a good farmer and well liked by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and nine children.
