Charles T. Baggett was once an apprentice (1989-1994) to her son Ray Walker. I went to Dalhart to re-roof her car-port because it was leaking quite badly. In the time that I stayed there, she gave me permission to adopt her as my "Granny Walker". It was an absolute delite to be in her company and talk to her about her son Ray's accomplishments.

She later knitted/crochet a colorful bed cover and mailed it to me. She quietly spoke when she reminded me of this: "When Ray is gone, you know that you will now be 'The keeper of the Light'. You know that don't you?" I said "Yes Maam".......
I'm so often reminded when I think of her, of the following saying: All little girls grow up to be women, but few ever get to acquire the rank of "A Lady". That was my Granny Walker......
