Long Illness Fatal for Provo Women
Annie Jennie Jones Spendlove, 83, died suddenly at her home, 442 No 300 W, early Sunday morning following a long illness. She was born at Mona, Utah June 14, 1878, the daughter of John D. and Susan Boren Jones.
She moved to Provo when she was a child and has lived here since. She was married to John A. Spendlove, Jan. 22, 1939. He died several years ago.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by one brother, Irvin Jones of Tremonton; one sister, Mrs. Ella Kelly of California.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12 p.m. at the Aura C. Hatch Mortuary with a member of the Fourth Ward bishopric officiating. Friends may call Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in Provo City Cemetery.

Obituary says "survived by sister, Mrs. Ella Kelly of California. This is really Mary Ellen (Ella) Jones, wife of Maurice Leslie Kelly (1874-1916) and dau of Stephen Jones (1843-1926) and Mary Ellen Buxton (1849-1877). Ella is a cousin, not a sister.
