James Durwood Lunsford died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on the Lewisville Road, early Saturday morning. Mr. Lunsford was a 23 year old employee of Sanitary Dairy, Inc. His funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Green-Kleinegger funeral chapel with Rev. Ira W. Flowers officiating, assisted by Rev. Truman Aldredge. Burial was in Minden cemetery.
Mr. Lunsford is survived by his mother, Mrs. D.D. Lunsford of Minden; a brother, Ambrose Lunsford of Minden; and eight sisters: Mrs. James B. Campbell of Shreveport; Mrs. G.L. Gleason of Bayton, Texas; Mrs. R.A. Garling of Minden; Mrs. Frank Warren of Shreveport; Mrs. Carl Shrader, of Washington, D.C.; Hazel Lunsford of Minden; and Helen Gale and Nellie Lunsford, both of Shreveport.
