Clarence L. "Jack" Bosworth, 85, of Chillicothe, died 2:35 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Heartland of Chillicothe following a brief illness. He was born March 29, 1924, in Beaver, Ohio, to the late Charles and Pearl Motley Bosworth. On July 30, 1949, he married the former Viola M. Arledge who died December 7, 1998.

Surviving are a daughter, Judith Tomlinson, of Chillicothe; a grandson, Jeff Conard, of Honolulu, HI; a sister, Martha Marilyn Clay, of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Maxine (Dorsey) Bosworth, of Urbana, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

'Jack served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the E.T.O. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 757, a fifty year member of Scioto Lodge # 6 F&AM and was a member of N.A.R.F.E. Jack retired from Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center after 33 years of service.

Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
