====================

Sarah Emma (Feeback) Noel actually died near Benbrook, Wyoming. I do not know if this town exists anymore. The Noel family were in a covered wagon going to California in 1888. Near Benbrook, Wyoming Sarah died of some disease. She was buried on the side of the trail there. Later a tombstone was put in the Omaha Cemetery, Omaha, Boone Co. Arkansas to commemorate her.

Sarah Emma (Feeback) Noel died on the road near Benbrook, Wyoming.
The Noel family were living in Kansas and decided to move to California. They made it as far as Wyoming when Emma died. After the death of his wife, John Charles Noel returned to Kansas.
Some years later John Charles Noel married Melvina Jane McGarvey, in Kansas, and in the 1890s they moved for a while to Utah, but eventually returned to Kansas. After the death of John Noel, Melvina went to live with a daughter in San Diego, California where she died 16 May 1955, aged 86.

The maiden name of the mother of Melvina McGarvey was Cummins. The mother was a relative of the Noels, as one of the Noel ancestors, a great aunt, or an aunt, of John Charles Noel had married a Cummins.

John Charles Noel and his wife, Sarah Emma Feeback, were married 19 December 1875, in Omaha, Boone Co. Arkansas.

In 1888 they with their children left Arkansas and by wagon were headed to California. Along the trail, near Benbrook, Wyoming, wife Sarah died and was buried along the trail. Benbrook, Wyoming no longer exists. Later a memorial was erected in her memory in the Omaha Cemetery, Boone Co. Arkansas, although she is not actually buried in the Omaha Cemetery. I do not know who erected the tombstone in the Omaha Cemetery for her.
