Dale G. Crum, 92, of Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, formerly of Bendersville, died Sunday, Nov. 3, at Brethren Home.
Born May 22, 1910 in Menallen Township, Adams County, he was a son of the late Henry W. and E. Hope Blocher Crum. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Edith Bream Crum.
He was a graduate of Biglerville High School, class of 1928 and also a graduate of the American Institute of Banking, York. He began his employment with Bendersville National Bank in 1942 and served as a director and chairman of the board before retiring as executive vice present in 1975.
Upon the merger of Bendersville National Bank with Adams County National Bank, he remained a director. He also was a member of Bendersville United Methodist Church; 50-year member of Good Samaritan Lodge 336, F & AM, Gettysburg; and a life member of Bendersville Fire Company.
He is also survived by a son, Wayne G. Crum of Bendersville; two daughters, Diana K. Kuntz of Gardners; Carol J. Matsinko of Gettysburg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Earl W, Crum of Chambersburg and Paul E. Crum of Bendersville.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin J. Kuntz.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, from Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with Rev. John P. Layman officiating.
Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery.
