Edna Louise Aaron, 70, of Hawthorn, died at 5 pm Tuesday, April 9, 1996 in Northwest Medical Center at Branklin.

Born September 13, 1925, in Deanville, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of Paul A Shoemaker and Grace Helen Hetrick Shoemaker.

Mrs. Aaron worked at the Brookville Glove Company until her retirement. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in New Bethlehem, the Hawthorn Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Missionary Society of the Hawthorn United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Aaron was married December 29, 1949 to Joseph William 'Bill' Aaron, who died November 10, 1989

Survivng are three sons, Douglas Aaron of Punxsutawney, Leslie Aaron of Hawthorn and Dennis Aaron of New Bethlehem RD 2' one daughter, Mrs. William (Doreen) Copenhaver of Oak Ridge; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Jack (Rozella) Boggs of New Castle, Mrs. Floyd (Lawaive) Metz of New Bethlehem RD 2, Mrs. Paul (Janet) Kunselman of Distant and Mrs. George (Connie) Keller of Marlboro, Maryland; and two brothers, Bertrum Shoemaker of Clarion and Howard Shoemaker of Indiana, Pa.

In Addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Aaron was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Henry and twin grandsons, Tad and Todd Aaron.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday in the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home at Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Mitchell, pastor of the Hawthorn Calvary United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Hawthorn Cemetery, Clarion County.
