Myron "Mike" William Dearborn, 64, Fort Bidwell, a former long-time Langell Valley resident, died on Thursday, in Fort Bidwell.

Mr. Dearborn was born in Lone Pine, Calif.

He came to Langell Valley with his parents the late Luther Henry and Mary Dearborn, in 1932. He was married to the former Carolyn Monroe in 1941.

He and his wife ranched in Langell Valley until moving to Fort Bidwell to retire in 1973. He was involved in riding activities and miscellaneous ranch chores for the local ranchers until his death.

Mr. Dearborn was a 4-H Leader for many years. He belonged to the Oregon Cattleman's Association, the Elk's Lodge, the historical society of Modoc and Klamath counties, Peoples Church Board and the Fort Bidwell Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include the widow, Carolyn of Fort Bidwell; sons, Mark and Nelson of New Zealand, Paul of San Francisco, Calif., and Ted of Eugene; sisters, Mrs. Les (Cora) Leavitt of Bonanza; brother, Albert of Nampa, Idaho; four grandchidlren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley of Bonanza.
