Mr. Dennis died at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.
A native of Bulcher, he had lived in Borger for 39 years.
He was a retired pumper for Perkins Prothro.
He was a charter member of American Business Club of Borger.
Survivors are his wife, Opal; three sons, David, Danny and Bobby, both of Borger; Tommy of Fritch; two daughters, Marie Brown and Sara Hopkins of Borger; three brothers, Dexter of Saint Jo, Robert of Adamsville, Ala., and Dale of Gainesville; two sisters, Elsie Morris of Mt. Pleasant, and Jessie Florence Milburn of Gainesville; and 10 grandchildren.

Services for D.E. "Earl" Dennis, 70, 1010 Harrison, will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Church of God with the Rev. Carroll Smith, pastor, and Dr. J.E. Jackson, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetry by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
