Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A retired pipeline gauger for Phillips Petroleum Co., Mr. Copeland was a native of Goodwell, Okla. He was a Borger resident for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Borger.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; a daughter, Jo Hinds of Borger; a son, Donald Copeland of Crowley, La.; a brother, Paul Copeland of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Alene Feister of Denver and Mrs. Irene Ridenour of Fredrick, Okla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
