Beloved husband, father, uncle and grandfather, Syd, aged 73, passed away on November 1, 2006. He was born October 2, 1933 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Madeline L. and Sydney C. Roberts, Sr. Syd served in the U.S. Marines, then worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. until his retirement in 1986. He married his soul mate, Ruth Youngblood in 1996. Syd collected trains and anything pertaining to them. He loved his Harley and enjoyed riding with his wife and many friends. Survived by his loving wife Ruth, two sons Grant (Misty) and Maurice, stepson Shawn Youngblood (Gia), three step grandsons, grandson Eric, sisters Kaye Staker (Jim), Nadra McClain, Nola Maury (Frank) and four nephews. Preceded in death by parents and one nephew. No funeral services will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at Mixed Emotions, 1030 S. State, November 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
