Nannie, daughter of Ambrose "Doc" Johnson and Almeda Hart is also grand-daughter of William Meeks Johnson and Susan McKeehan; and a 2nd cousin to my Grandfather, Benjamin Lankford McKeehan.

Nannie married to Rev Lewis Millard Skeen, half-brother to Ruby Skeen who married Samuel L McKeehan, (3rd cousin to my Father), giving the family a 2nd McKeehan connection.

Reverend Lewis Skeen is the son of Delphia Lay and Thomas Breckenridge Skeen of Whitley County, Kentucky.

Lewis and Nannie were blessed with children and became proud parents to (7), prior to Lewis' untimely death in 1936, age 40. A total of (10) children were actually born to this union; the (3) who died were all named "Lewis". Sadly, Lewis Sr, never had a namesake that survived.

The children are:
Wesley James Skeen .1916
John Clive Skeen . .1918,
. . . . surviving twin of Lewis
Lewis Skeen . . . .1918,
. . . . twin to John, died at birth
Ambrose T Skeen . .1920
Lawrence Paul Skeen.1926
Lewis Skeen . . . .1928, died in infancy
Millie P Skeen . . .1930
Joel T Skeen . . . .1932
Bobbie L Skeen . . .1934
Lewis Skeen . . . .1936, Stillborn

Nannie, who survived her husband by (34) years, later remarried to a Mr Clyde Pruden who claimed the appropriate title of "Grandpa" to the Grandchildren of Lewis and Nannie.

Following her death in Aug 1970, Nannie was interred in Corinth Cementery, Whitley, joining in final rest, her 1st husband, Rev Lewis Skeen . . . (Joyce McKeehan Keeney)
