Coy Glen Bridges, 78, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at his home in New Hebron. Visitation is 5:30-9:30 p.m. today at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss and the body will lie in state from 9:30 until service time Wednesday at Hebron Baptist Church. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial in Whitesand Cemetery.

Mr. Bridges was a lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County. He retired from Southern Natural Gas Company with 33 yrs. He served on the Board of Directors of Jefferson Davis Community Hospital and was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He was an active deacon and member of Old Heron Baptist Church. Glenn was avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his wife Tommie Jean, Two sons: Jerry Bridges and Joey Bridges of New Hebbron; One dughter, Bonnie Griffin of Brooklyn, and four grandchildren: Ashley, Phillip, Thomas, and Carter Bridges of New Hebron.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Coy and Rhea Bridges, two sisters; Marie Newsom and Joy Little.
