Graveside service for Mrs. Nell O'Berry Newton, 55, is scheduled today at 4 p.m. at the Hargraves Chapel Cemetery near Millwood.

The Rev. Dolphus Smith will officiate. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Newton died Tuesday night at Lakeland Villa Nursing Home, Lakeland, Ga., after a long illness. She was a Ware County native but had lived in Atkinson County since 1962. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late David and Nellie Hargraves O'Berry.

Survivors are her husband, Raymond Newton, Pearson; a son, Clayton Newton, Pearson; a step-son Jack Newton, Jacksonville, Fla.; five daughters, Linda Campbell, Pearson, Judy Rose, Vickie Esposito, and Nickie Cupp, all of Jacksonville, Fla, Tammy Cupp, Colorado; a step-daughter, Betty Carter, Lakeland; a brother, Walter O'Berry, Fargo; three sisters, Ada Chance, Jacksonville, Fla., Inez White, Axson, and Gerald Cupp, Quincy, Fla.; her mother-in-law, Clara Kirkland, Lake Wales, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
