GREENVILLE, Miss. - Louise Harper Moses, a retired tow boat cook, died Thursday at an area hospital. She was 82.
The native of D'Lo, Miss., lived in Greenville for a number of years.
Survivors include three sons, Ellis L. Moses Jr. of Loxley, Ala., Leonard F. Moses of Social Circle, Ga., and Johnny M. Moses of Yazoo City, Miss.; four daughters, Gwendolyn Sigmond of Greenville, Geralyn Dee Holden of Tucson, Ariz., and Suzanne Maxwell and Melanie Frances Moses, both of Mesquite, Texas; six brothers, Leonard Lee Harper, Curtis Eugene Harper and Riley Burnett Harper, all of Oak Grove, La., Leo Forest Harper of Kilbourne, La., Emmett Doyle Harper of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and John Robert Harper of Flowery Branch, Ga.; six sisters, Lillie Ethel Finch of Dayton, Ohio, Mildred Christell McDaniel of Panama Beach, Fla., Myrtis Mae Passons of Natchez, Miss., Faye Nell Barns, Alene Mae Ward and Irene Faye Bedenbender, all of Oak Grove; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Mobile. Mortimer Funeral Home of Greenville is handling arrangements.
