Funeral services for G. A. "Jerry" BURGER, 81, who died Monday, Dec. 2, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in Waka Church of the Brethren with Rev. Milton Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in the Ochiltree Cemetery, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers.
He was born July 27, 1904 in Indian Territory near El Reno, OK. He moved to Ochiltree County in 1918 from Thomas, OK.
BURGER was married September 19, 1923 to Viola STUMP. She preceded him in death in 1979.
He was a member of the Waka Church and was a long-time farmer/rancher.
Survivors include: one son, David of Perryton; three daughters, Lois HEUSINKVELD of Wichita, KS, Laverne ARNOLD of Dayton, OH, and Jean GURLEY of Perryton; two sisters, Grace TENNEY of Guthrie, OK and Irene MAYO of Sequin, TX; a brother, Ray BURGER of Pampa, TX; also 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
