Born January 14,1913 in Evangeline, Louisiana, Died November 21, 2008 in Sulfur, Louisiana. Mr. Darbone was the band leader and co-founder of the legendary Cajun Band "The Hackberry Ramblers",which he co-founded with accordionist Mr. Edwin A. Duhon Sr. in 1933.
