Ambrose Earl Arnett Jr., 68, of 805 W. 10th St., Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 1, 1994, at his home. He was born in Owensboro; retired from Western Kentucky Legal Services as a paralegal; and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #696, James L. Yates Post #9 of the American Legion and AMVETS Post #75. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a business degree and was a Marine Corps veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose Earl Arnett Sr. and a sister, Mildred Arnett. Survivors include his mother, Catherine Boggs of Owensboro; and a brother, Robert Arnett of Owensboro. Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Walnut Memorial Baptist Church, 3300 Frederica St., Owensboro, KY 42301.
