Joseph Stanley Breznick, 72, of Rutland, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis.
Joseph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and bird watching.
His survivors include his daughter, Kathy and her husband Joe Senecal, and his dear friend, Gloria Paquette.
His memorial service and burial will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, Vt.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff at both the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH) and the Rutland Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and compassionate care throughout his illness, and would like to thank the staff at Eternal Blessings Cremation Service for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
