Max William Pehrson, loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 70, died March 23, 1993 in a West Jordan hospital, after a long illness.

Born February 1, 1923 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to A.J. and Vilate Parks Pehrson. Married Lorraine Penman, she died April 26, 1956. Married Gwena Evans. Veteran of World War II. He loved sports, and his joy was his family. Active member LDS Church, High Priest.Survived by wife; daughters and sons, Maxine Brown, Larry, Jay, Steven, Dale, Debbie Crane, Penny Becraft, Sherry Hammer, and Kelly; 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Orbit, Darrell, Joe, Margie Christensen, Betty Teella, Carol Adams, and Wally. Preceded in death by one son, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, West Jordan Bingham Creek 1st Ward, 7950 So. Redwood Road. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, and Saturday, one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be in the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.

Family wishes to thank the Dr.'s and nurses at the Veteran's Administration Hospital and West Jordan Public Safety.
