Nathan Puffer
only son of
Nathan & Caty Clapp Puffer,
born in Sudbury, Mass.
Aug. 15, 1771, died July 27, 1851
and is buried at Moran, Michigan.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1812
serving three years with Gen. Scott
in all his battles on the frontier.
Of marked ability he was
universally beloved.
"Canst thou by searching find out God!
What canst thou know?"

and daughter of
Samuel & Abigail Wilder Joslyn.
Born in Lancaster Nov. 24, 1774,
Died Nov. 23, 1802.
