Obituary
J. Willard Pusey, 47, maintenance man at the Salisbury State Teachers College, who made his home at 1507 Arbutus Drive, died suddenly yesterday at the college while at work. Death was at atributed to a heart attack.
Born in Worcester County, he was a son of the late Edward H. and Henrietta Wright Pusey. He had worked for the J. W. Parks Co., plumbers, and for himself before going to the college six months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Christine R. Pusey; two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie White and Mrs. Charles Dunston, both of Salisbury, a son. Thomas Pusey, at home; two grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Verna Beauchamp of Pocomoke City, Mrs. Sidney Taylor of Princess Anne, Mrs. Russell Smith and Mrs. Margaret Mears, both of Salisbury, and Mrs. James Young of Baltimore; three brothers, Edward H. of Salisbury, Clyde of Baltimore, and Chief Petty Officer, Herbert A. Pusey, of the Philippines.
Mr. Pusey was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Delmar.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Church of God on Tilghman and Wailes Sts., by the Rev. Jack Adams, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of Salisbury. Burial will be in the Wicomico Memorial Park.
