George Elby Ham, residing in Rombauer, Butler Co., MO for 27 years died in Rombauer (probably at home), August 6th 1949. He was born 16 Sept 1967 in Calhoun Co., IL; father Johnnie Ham (mother unknown). George was widowed & a retired farmer. Ray Ham, Rombauer, MO, was the informant of George Ham's personal information. He was aged 81 years 10 months 22 days at the time of his passing. He died of chronic myocarditis, diagnosed 2 years prevuiously caused by bronchitis which he had suffered from for several years which was due to bronchial asthma. J. Lester Harwell, M.D. of Poplar Bluff, MO attended him from July 28th 1949 - Aug 3, 1949. The last time he saw him was June 3, 1939. Burial was in Hamtown Cemetery, August 8, 1949. Funeral Director: Watkins Funeral Home, Dexter, MO.
