Howard Stevens is the eleventh child in a family of thirteen children born to Charles Franklin Stevens Jr. and Aurelia Spencer. He was born three months early and only lived for two hours. He was buried in the Cedar City Cemetery the next day. He was his parents' seventh child to die in infancy.
